What women want to hear!

1. Yes that dress is perfect on you. I'll buy it for you immediately
2. Fat? You're all curves and I love you to bits!
3. Oh, lovely! You know that weepy love stories are my favourites in the cinema!
4. Dinner at your parents? I can't wait to have a good gossip with your mother!
5. Of course the meeting with the boss is not as important as coming to pick curtains with you!
6. No, I'm not going to play poker with the boys. I'd rather come shopping with you, of course I'll pay!
7. We've got all night to make love so I think I can cuddle you for at least three hours...
8. You're going out with your friends? I'll use the time to polish and tidy up that sideboard.
9. This omlette you made is delicious. I can't imagine anyone making it better!
10. You must be so tired after a day like that! I'll do the housework.
11. Did I ever mention how great I am at ironing?
12. No don't put down the phone, lets talk for at least another ten minutes, we've only been talking for three hours!
13. This diamond necklace looked so lonely in the window I thought it would be happier with the diamond earings I bought you last year!
14. Time flies when I'm with you. I even forgot to go to the gym.
15. Honey, the baby's crying. But don't worry I'll go and change him!
16. Well, if you insist on going on a diet, I will too! I adore your boiled carrots
17. No, stay in bed another ten minutes. I'll make breakfast and bring it to you here.
18. Stay home on Sunday to watch the formula 1 bike race? What ever for? I really feel like a walk around IKEA.
19. Of course I can assemble this piece of furniture. Didn't I mention I did a coursew in Swedish and the instructions are perfectly clear?
20. Oh honey, you've hung the painting! Good girl! No don't worry it will only take a moment to repair the plaster and repaint the wall.
21. Your friends are cute but you're gorgeous!
22. I don't think I tell you often enough how much I love you!
23. I know you're surprised but my mother taught me to go to the bathroom and leave everything perfect!
24.

And I though I was bitter...

Come on Isabo, I want 25-50

On a lighter note, called an old ex who's current on again off again boyfriend is an old buddy of mine to see what they are up to for new years.
Seems he went to a shady bar that he likes, got drunk (duh), flirted with lady bartender (the only reason we go to that bar), at which point her boyfriend of the week told him to back off. Sometime later he got his face punched in rather badly (my friend that is).
So ex and Casanova spending the holidays nursing his wounds... oh and did I mention he has been unemployed for several years?

How does that compare to your tattoo story Isabo?

I think this only applies to American women. Having good luck with South Asian, and European's seem to require a lot less maintenance.

I was going to say that reads the same as the list of things a woman wants to hear from her gay male roomate, but Lendaddy beat me to it.

No, those are things women are trained to say that they want to hear.

This is one of the subjects, Thom, that you should probably not offer an opinion on.

Seems to me that Thom may have more credibility on this subject than most.

Isn't love wonderful.
Daughter and boyfriend are now on excellent terms again. It did need another public tantrum from beloved offspring involving her slapping him and getting him on the ground. He didn't react beyond trying to protect his face and staying on the ground. (Good self control and VERY MANIPULATIVE!). I have high hopes that they get it right now.

Guess where you're sleeping tonight? And don't forget to take the garbage out on your way there and leave your wallet on my desk

The boyfriend doesn't have a self esteem issue, but he does feel very stupid about the tattoo. The way he acted of not reacting was very clever as it made Bobbi feel worse afterwards, they do have very strong feelings for each other, but she has very strong negative feelings about him and the tattoo. In truth I have never been so optimistic about things between them working out.
There is no getting away from the reality that my daughter has issues. I don't want to go into the background to it on a public forum but it very easy to understand and forgive her behaviour when it's known. Her boyfriend knows all about it, she is not usually like this with him.

Postscriptum
Janus just saw the last part of your post. Bobbi is not violent or abusive, just very angry. Yes I do think she is overreacting! If this was a regular occurrence her boyfriend would act. Because of his martial arts experience he spent most of his military service (used to be compulsory in Italy) as an unarmed combat instructor. He's a young lawyer but he's not a delicate little flower. My daughter's problems show up in presenting a very aggresive pose to the world, in appearance and attitude. If she was violent there would be good reason to be scared, she is very strong and athletic, an accomplished martial artist and, like me, has a carry permit for her pistol.
