These are laws that are passed, but going into effect midyear. These seem to be the most significant laws affecting used car sales in California since . . . ever? California's very pro-seller "as is, where is" laws have been around forever.
the most interesting is the $250 2 day return option. and the restrictions on calling cars "certified" used cars.
Both are fairly significant chipping aways of California's "as is" used car laws. Makes it much less risky buying a used car from a dealership, having a 2 day return option. Also gives some "teeth" to a car being "certified" (previously, that term meant nothing).
