what does "bump" mean?
I've been a participant on this board for a long time, but have no idea what "bump" means in a reply or when to use it.
Someone please enlighten me. Thanks |
It means it will bring your post back to the front of the threads SmileWavy
|
Thats used when someone wants their thread brought back to page one for more attention. Maybe no one responded to their question or maybe their asking price was too high in the for sale section and their ad is now back on page 9.
|
It's when you want to place your response...or thread (that you've started)...back to the top of the board. The idea is that the items with the most recent responses etc...go to the top of which ever board you're on...thus giving it more visibility :) Hope that makes sense...

Or when you have three people simultaneously answer your question...
That counts as three bumps. |
Aha!
Thanks everyone. Jim |
Bump.

i haven't checked in in a while...
bump. :D ryan |
Will the bump steer retrofit guide threads to logical conclusions?
|
Its usually something you have to go over in parking lots at an angle and really slow because the front end of your 911 is really low. Also known as a "speed bump." :D
|
Bump steer...isn't that reduced by a change in spring rates, perhaps new shocks, and raising the steering rack with a spacer? ;)
|
I thought it was something you should get checked out by a Dr.
