Who has a portable DVD player ?
 
Question for you. Does your DVD player have adequate volume when not using head phones? I just bought a TOSHIBA SD-P1600 can barely hear it 1 foot away. Are all portables like this or is there something wrong with mine?

Something is wrong with yours. I could hear my kids Pokemon movie (for the 20th time) cruising down a highway at 80 with the radio on.

Maybe we should trade DVD players :)

I have a no-name brand - sound is ok up close - adequate from across the room - probably a little better than yours...

Also have a no-name, volume is just fine.
