A Man of Ambition
 

Out of the swirl of dust comes a whirlwind and where it will lead no one knows.

In the predawn light he grabbed his field glasses and climbed the mountain with his Indian scouts. Upon reaching the summit the Indian scouts point off into the distance and said, "There, there is a large village, with many lodges."

Searching the horizon with his field glasses in the direction that his scouts had pointed he says in disbelief, " I don't see it.". "Believe us." the Indian scouts reply, "it is there, and if you go there you will not come back."

Never being a man to flinch from adversity, believing in his own forordained greatness and ultimate success he quickily dispelled any doubts he might have had and decided on a course of action.

If he acted quickly and decsivily he felt success would be his as it always had been before. This time it would propel him to new heights, The White House. But before him lay the task at hand to defeat the Indian Nations under Sitting Bull and return them to the Reservation.....
