Horrible ending
To add I don't see Chicago scoring a single point. OK, maybe 3

Denver will take care of the Steelers...
Bears and Panthers - should be interesting. Hard for me to call. I'd go with the Bears because of home field.

Heheheh...talk about Cloud 9 - I was in a luxury suite at the Carolina Hurricanes game this afternoon, watching them come back and beat the Blues, and was watching the Steelers/Colts on the TV during idle moments of the hockey game....we were going crazy. Only way it could have been better was if there were some call girls there to snort coke off of their arses...

I agree. Bad call on the rastafarian's interception, by the way. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been as close as it was. Ed |

The Steelers haven't lost in about 3 months now.
The Bronco's looked to a very balanced team as long as the turnovers fall their way, otherwise unimpressive.

So far, it seems to be one of those years of great playoff games. Often when that happens, the superbowl game is a dud. Hope that's not the case this year. I'll confess, a few games into the season, I'd have NEVER picked any of the 4 left to make it to the big one.

maybe from his Notre Dame days? Bettis is $$$, it is almost destiny to have him finish his HOF career playing a SB in his hometown. Denver will be agreat game-both teams match-up so well, solid, shifty Defense, strong running games--although I have to give the Steelers the advantage in the passing game--I think Plummer can be rattled. Will be a great one. The Steelers played for the win from the opening kick on Sunday. Manning was definately confused, although I am surprised he crticized his O-line--QBs just don't do that. 2 plays of the game--Ben making the tackle on the fumble recvery, and Bryant McFadden(the rookie) defending the endzone throw to Wayne on the Colts' final drive. Here we Go Steelers, Here we Go!

He never bad-mouths anyone, he never plays dirty, he never complained about his role in the Steelers offense, he never questioned the coaches, he took a pay-cut to stay with the Steelers, every Steeler counts him as a leader on the field and in the locker room. Zeroue, Haynes, Staley, and Parker have all commented on how much he has helped them develop, and his valuable role as a mentor to them. He is very active in both national and local charity work--and he has never been in trouble off the field. He is the epitome of a "team player". I just hope he gets a Super Bowl ring for his HOF career. He deserves it.

It's not the dance itself that gets me, it's that he does it EVERY FRIGGEN time he touches the damn ball! Celebrate , I have no problem with that. I ask only one thing though.......atleast try to actually accomplishing something worthy of celebration before you do.!!! Maybe he's celebrating NOT having a grabber after every run? Or maybe that he kept that triple burger w/cheese down after a hit? Hewll if I know
![]() I can't explain it man, I can't......but he makes me want to climb into the TV and rip his face off. I think it's the constant "look at me" crap. And maybe the announcers licking his jockstrap because he's real good at falling over the goal line. Hell I don't know, but that the beauty of sports, I don't need a good reason tobe a fan or an anti-fan. Anyway, I am going to purchase all Denver garb before next weekend, now I just need to learn their fight song.

But I agree - I don't know why these guys think they should celebrate after a two-yard run - it's really their job. I don't celebrate after each time I save a document in Microsoft Word. There are other complaints, of course -- the "point to the sky" (as in God) after a touchdown or touchdown pass is a big one from what I've heard. I like Troy Polamalu: he crosses himself (Catholic) after each play. Well, the way those guys hit, damn, I'd be crossing myself too after each play.
