Dual-Booting Mac And Windows Is Closer?

Apple is saying that it hasn't tried to lock Windows out of its Intel-based Macs. So it appears that a dual-boot machine will be feasible, at least after Vista.

I thought that Power PCs could do that 10 years ago?

There was a version of NT for PPC architecture. And I've seen OS X running on a Dell GX270 - right after the first developer release.

I wonder if we'll be able to dual-boot Mac and Windows on a non-Apple PC?

I like the iMac, iBook and MacBook hardware better than anything in their class. But Apple doesn't make a super-tiny take-anywhere sub-notebook (in the Toshiba Libretto class) and for a power user desktop, I'd consider building my own.

jyl - for super tiny take anywhere, check out the Nokia 770. I'm getting one, as soon as I can figure out how to buy one on a purchase order...
