The one movie I wanted to see in the theater this year, and they aren't showing it anywhere near my house! :(
I'll have to make a road trip to see it... Here is the story on Munro... http://www.indianmotorbikes.com/features/munro/munro.htm http://www.indianmotorbikes.com/features/munro/7.jpg |
I agree, it was a very happy and motivational movie which sadly is a rarity these days. I loved the super friendly nature of random people throughout the movie. If things were half as good in reality, I really wish I was around back then. I mean, where can you just walk up to a lady living in a desert and borrow her welder and scrap parts off cars nowadays?

We saw the movie last night and really enjoyed it, which surprised me. Hopkins overplays the role a bit, but the characters he meets on his journey were simply priceless! A lot like a David Lynch movie in that respect. Two pistons way up!

A small correction regarding the latest Indian motorcyles. Not all of them used S&S engines. Indian eventualled tooled up their own 100" engine though it was largely based on your typical Harley design. I worked for the company that built their engine until Indian declared bankruptcy...
