Well if production date was stamped 73 on the foam 74-75 would work. OK they are 74 leather high backs. I'll go edit my post.

So, the rumor about you buying out Joe Redner is true?
Best of luck with the sale T-Bird. It must be a tough decision. Craig

mate, you sure about this?
absolutely necessary? if so , try to sell it in Europe , you'll get more cash out of it at least 35 K in euro's , yours is cleaner than mine they're more expensive here, and even at same numbers, it's about 20% thanks to the exchange rates

Youre not selling any vintage guitars, are you? I dont have the money for the 'Old Wood', but definitely check around before you let go of anything too quickly. Some of that stuff has gone absolutely insane in the last few years. I cant buy, but Id be happy to help you find some reputable vintage guys or help figure out what some of it is worth.
Id say $35k easily for the S. List it a $45k and take the best offer from overseas. To paraphrase another seller that i saw list a car here recently: Id start the engine and stick my face in the fan before I took less than $35k for that car. ![]() Good luck! Hey Shuie, Hi Stijn.
Well I'm keeping the two Gibson Thunderbirds... a guy has to have tools to work. I have a Fender 51 precision reissue on ebay now, will probably sell the 2000 American J bass, and the Epiphone Explorer as well. I will be listing the 1970 Ampeg SVT cabinet too but it will be for pick up only or they will have to arrange the shipping. Some guy offered me a brand new Taylor 12 string ($2700.00) in even trade for my 64 Epiphone Texan the other day! I wish I had some of what he apparently had smoked. I still my take him up on that and flip the Taylor. Sadly enough I may have to put the whole thing on hold for a while. My wife was diagnosed with a vascular problem in her intestines called ischemia, which will most likely end in either a shunt being put in her aorta or bypass surgery. The prognosis is not good and has us rather upset about the whole thing. Me ...well I was only 10 days away from giving them my retirement notice. I will have to stay now to keep my complete healthcare package as the retirement package only offers limited benefits. I am thankful for the fact that one of the local bands I play with here has 3 doctors in it. Because I am an experienced player along with the keyboard player I brought with me, I have been able to help them reach their dreams of being "real" musicians. One of them is her regular MD and one is a very skilled vascular surgeon with a state wide reputation. After rehearsal last night I told those two I was calling in my marker and told them I helped them achieve their dream, now it was time for them to save mine. Today they were all over this like stink on S**t. We put her through a bunch of tests in order to rule out any other possibilities. We should know a whole lot more about the direction we will go in by tuesday. The whole thing is pretty bittersweet. They will be losing me as a bass player, front man, vocalist, and booking agent and they know I will be hard to replace. Yet they are doing their best to help us get on our way. It's just really hard right now. ....so close but now yet so far. I hate to have to sell the S car for med bills as it was supposed to help us get free. "Men make plans....the Gods just smile" Another life test.

for what it's worth , 924's aren't to bad
sure , it's a bit underpowered compared to an S very forgiving, and that makes em fun to experiment with, i've gone more sideways in my green turd, then in any other car... even in the wet , on highways at 70mph... the butt swings, and then you can hold it or get it back in line...
