I never did like punk chicks...I met Courtney Love, not my type.

JavaBrewer 01-25-2006 03:58 PM

Ribeye - go a good red wine.

Be sure to buy your Dad a glass too. Must be nice to still be friends with the parents. I had a major falling out with mine, I don't recommend it.

Im not talking about body hair.

Punk chicks, meh. Courtney Love? Not even with yours. Hardly a punk either.

You want a fun time, go date some goth chicks, if you can get ovr the "pale and tragic" vibe

Suggestions?

Congrats! I spent my 40th on Phoenix Int'l Raceway in a Formula Ford. Wives got myself and best friend a trip to Bob Bondurants class. It was great. Too bad that was 10 years ago already. Time really does begin to fly because you only remember half of what you used to. :)

Yes, have a great time tonight and cherish the time you have with your folks. My were both alive when I was 40, but both are gone now so enjoy them while you can!

Happy B-day Socal911SC,

Where did you go to dinner?

Spoken by a true kid! :)

It only gets better as you will find. My day was 20 days ago and it keeps getting better and better.

Your next thing coming up in life will appear in about 2 years. The print on newspapers and such will start to get smaller and you will start to hold everything you read futher out! Then is the time to go to a .99c store and buy a handful of reading glasses!

All in all, a lot happier now than I ever was 10, 20 or 30 years ago. And I am not slowing down one bit...

Yep. That's where I get mine. They're lying all over the place and when they get scratched, they get tossed. Sunglasses too. And dish soap, pain relievers, yadda yadda.

Anyways, going to a nice dinner by the beach with my favorite people, my wife, son, mom and dad. I'm going to have the ribeye with an awesome wine mushroom sauce.

You're still a young-gun. Great to have both your parents with you and happy. Cherish these moments.

Rick Lee 01-26-2006 08:47 AM

I believe you share a b-day with your neighbor, Eddie Van Halen. Maybe you'll see him hitting the bars tonight.

JavaBrewer 01-26-2006 09:03 AM

If Ed can stumble his way there...I think he's hittin the sauce pretty hard again.

Rick Lee 01-26-2006 09:05 AM

Probably is. He doesn't have to behave himself for his ex-wife anymore.
