Sacramento Kings trade Peja for Ron Artest
I have always liked Stojakovich, but he has always been sort of soft. He has not been happy since they traded Divacs to LA, and has not done well this year. Everyone knows about the problems Artest has had. I think it helps the Kings much more than Indiana. I am just hoping it turns out as well for Sacramento as the Mitch Richmond for Chris Webber trade did. That was a very similar situation. Very popular, long time star traded for troubled player with huge talent who does not want to play for Sacramento. Webber turned his career around here, hopefully Artest does the same. Any thoughts?

I think its a great fit for both sides--a fresh start for Artest in Sacremento, who got a very athletic and incredible defender who can also throw in 20 ppg, and Indiana got a pure shooter with long range and is just a great all-around player to add their athletic big men. One player will not make a championship team for either of these squads so its just one peice of the improvements both teams need to make.

Sac has hit bottom. Artest can only help lift the Kings.

Sac traded for Artest AND all his baggage. I am glad he is our of the Eastern Conference. Goodbye to Bad News.

Ron Artest single handedly ruined 2 Pacer seasons. He brought shame and disgust to a franchise that was well thought of. He is a simple minded punk and he will always have trouble where ever he goes because he is incapable of consistantly making good decisions. I am glad he is gone from Indy and I say good luck to Sacramento. You will need it!
Sacramento has hit rock bottom and Artest arrives with a shovel in hand to help them. Which way will he dig? His past tells me eventually it will be deeper!
