Last time I bought flowers for a chick, she complained that she didn't like pink roses. The time before that, I bought her chocolates -- Lindt, too, the good stuff ... she complained that "nuts have no place in chocolate." After having turned her nose up at every kind thing I've attempted, she then complains that guys never buy her jewelry ...

And it isn't "Valentine's Day," it's actually Single's Awareness Day (SAD). For those of us who are still single, the whole thing is a couple of solid months of continuous reminding that anyone who doesn't have a date for V-Day is a loser.

My wife thinks V-day is a load. If I was to buy her something sepcial on that day only then it is safe to say we do not have a good relationship.

We skip V-day and I do nice things all year long. I do not need a holiday to tell me to do something nice for my woman.
