see, all that fuss about some rockets back in the days
the Ruskies weren't so grudgefull over all the missiles you guys had in Turkey and so on.... last time i checked the russians aren't still boycotting anybody's products, let alone cigars, over something that happened in the sixties...
Castro may be a communist, it may not be a really democraticly elected chief but last time i checked, medical care was good in Cuba, free for everybody , nobody is left out, unlike the US...(correct me if i'm wrong on that one )...as for him beeing a threat to the USofA ... i thought the US was the home of the free & brave... but it turns that the home itself is scared of and old man with a beard... can't be free if you are scared.. so that one goes down in flames as well
if you ask me the boycot & castro for that matter don't hurt cuba as much as it protects it from beeing overrun by big companies, buying up businesses and then underpaying the cubans for exports to the US...while turning the whole country in some cheap package holiday resort for overweight pensioners or spring braking abnoxious teens..marketed as the Cuba from the 50'ies for the old timers... or Cancun of the 2000's for the youngsters...with all sorts of related problems...
