Nicolai Valuev, who stands 7-foot-2 and weighs 320 pounds, was in the city Tuesday — and it had nothing to do with the NBA draft.

The native of St. Petersburg, Russia, who once played basketball, was at a news conference to announce his 12-round fight against George Linberger, a 6-3, 265-pound school teacher from Akron, Ohio, Saturday night at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, N.J.

Asked about his biggest asset as a fighter, Valuev (26-0, 22 knockouts) said through an interpreter, "I will reveal it in the ring Saturday night."

His second best asset?

"I eat very well," Valuev said.

In all seriousness, this guy is plenty thick to play Tight End in the NFL. Instant touchdown EVERY time.

LOL. I was thinking the same thing. Look at the reach!

A guy that big must be as slow as mail. He has some guns though. I just do not think if he was put in the ring with someone with skill he would stand a chance. Carrying around that mass will burn you down quick. He could only keep those cannons up for so long, soon as he drops his guard a good few jabs and a cross to the chops would drop a bull.
