Cindy Sheehan's mental state continues to deteriorate....
From beautiful Caracas, Venezuela........
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060129/ap_on_el_se/sheehan_senate "Cindy Sheehan May Challenge Calif. Senator CARACAS, Venezuela - Cindy Sheehan, the peace activist who set up camp near President Bush's Texas ranch last summer, said Saturday she is considering running against Sen. Dianne Feinstein (news, bio, voting record) to protest what she called the California lawmaker's support for the war in Iraq. "She voted for the war. She continues to vote for the funding. She won't call for an immediate withdrawal of the troops," Sheehan told The Associated Press in an interview while attending the World Social Forum in Venezuela along with thousands of other anti-war and anti-globalization activists..,,"

From the 'WTF' files.....
What does Justice Alito have to do with the death of a soldier who has a Mom that is saddened beyond belief that a filibuster not being initiated would taint a California Senator with really bad hair not deserving a chance at re-election, but would actually free her to run for President along with Hillary and thereby doom the political party that she professes to support by pandering to every wacko regime that will give her a plane ticket to protest once again in a new venue since she has been run off of pretty much every other place that would otherwise support her concerns with the direction of the justice system and the price of a quality hair stylist. I dunno. Maybe it's just me, I am having trouble making the connection.

I hope she runs, and I hope she wins. Her (insane) message needs to be heard over and over and over. The crazier she makes the leftists sound the better. She can't screw up CA that badly anyway, can she?

Cindy Sheehan is only relevant to the Tightie Righties, who are desperate for any distraction from the distaster that is the USS Bushanic. She jumped the shark months ago, but you poor fellas just can't let go.
Kinda like your Ted Kennedy obsession.

He was stating about how she is nothing but "ammo" for you guys to distract from the real issues, which is true. I agree with him. Sure hope that meets your "approval". |

Oh Man! I just realized that was a question (a long one) and I should have put a question mark at the end.
Sorry.

Libertarian? Me too! As one of the 'exploited class', I strongly support the Taxation subsection of our platform:
The Issue: Government manipulation of the economy creates an entrenched privileged class -- those with access to tax money -- and an exploited class -- those who are net taxpayers. The Principle: All persons are entitled to keep the fruits of their labor. Government activity should not include the forcible collection of money or goods from individuals in violation of their individual rights. No tax can ever be fair, simple or neutral to the free market. Solutions: Specifically, we: a.) support the right of any individual to challenge the payment of taxes on moral, religious, legal or constitutional grounds; b.) oppose all personal and corporate income taxation, including capital gains taxes; c.) support the repeal of the Sixteenth Amendment, and oppose any increase in existing tax rates and the imposition of any new taxes; d.) support the repeal of all taxation; and e.) support a declaration of unconditional amnesty for all those individuals who have been convicted of, or who now stand accused of, tax resistance. We oppose as involuntary servitude any legal requirements forcing employers or business owners to serve as tax collectors for federal, state, or local tax agencies. We oppose any and all increases in the rate of taxation or categories of taxpayers, including the elimination of deductions, exemptions or credits in the spurious name of "fairness," "simplicity," or alleged "neutrality to the free market." Transitional Action: As an interim measure, all criminal and civil sanctions against tax evasion should be terminated immediately. In the current fiscal crisis of states and municipalities, default is preferable to raising taxes or perpetual refinancing of growing public debt. |

I think the lack of a free market and the disrespect for the constitution are a couple of the biggest issues for me. Plus, I don't care for socialism programs (corporate, which also assists in the market not being free) as well as individual.
