Final Cut Studio GOOD DEAL
Apple announced that it will no longer sell Motion, Final Cut, DVD Studio Pro and Soundtrack individually.
http://www.macworld.com/news/2006/02/01/crossgrade/index.php You can only buy the full suite, $1,300. Ouch http://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/ BUT! They also announced a cross grade from ANY individual product to the FULL suite for $199. http://www.apple.com/universal/crossgrade/ So do what I just did. Grab/find a copy of one of the individual apps for $299 before they are all gone. Then buy the cross grade for $199 and you just saved $800 on the full suite. Sweet!!!.

With the educational discount, Final Cut Studio is only $700.
All the more reason to buy a Mac... there's no windows program that can compete

Yeah I know, my wifes a teacher. But doing it this way I only pay $500 and I get to put it on my business CC and get the write off to boot. Scott
