The Pentagon hates this one...

Particularly Saddam's friend, Don.

That's incredibly tasteless. Good job, Pat.

Joeaksa 02-02-2006 10:08 PM

Especially considering your MOS, yes, its very tasteless. Hope you are very proud of this one.

Mulhollanddose 02-02-2006 10:35 PM

fastpat, like his friend Scott Ritter, gives aid and comfort to the enemy...John Kerry would be proud.

kach22i 02-03-2006 05:20 AM

How is he going to re-enlist?

It could of said condition: reassignment or troop withdraw.

If you guys really cared, would you let there be 20,000 of them like this?

Will you reconsider your support of this meaningless war once there are 50,000 amputees?

What is it going to take?

Neocons have a proven track record of not only giving aid and comfort to the enemy, but funding their rise to leadership.

How else can you explain a $420B war in Iraq that elected a radical Islamic controlled government with close ties to and support from Iran?

Or perhaps Hamas would be another example?

And OBL and his staff continue to make threatening video and audio tapes.

I don't know Jason. With a Republican Congress and Presidency, seems like Terrorists are doing really well for themselves, and the admin is helping them at every turn.

Soooo, just when do you think Iran will pull our their Iraq card? or their China card... Russia card?

Good job guys. Great vision.

That p!sses me off almost as much as the towelheads are p!ssed about the Dane's cartoon. This provides a good comparison showing how the civilized world will tolerate an ignorant traitorous moron while the towelheads just keep digging a bigger hole for themselves to be buried in.

I was at Rumsfeld's Nat. Press Club luncheon yesterday when he was asked about this. An audience member asked whether Rumsfeld thought it appropriate for the Joint Chiefs to write a letter to the Wash. Post about this. (The letter was printed yesterday or the day before and signed by all five of them.) Of course, after the luncheon I saw it on CNN, which conveniently left out the first part of Rumsfeld's answer.

First part of his answer was "You're not suggesting we restrict the Joint Chiefs' freedom of speech, are you?" The whole room laughed. CNN cut to the latter part of his answer where he talked about vicious cartoons about Roosevelt, Lincoln, LBJ, etc.

You mean like Ayatollah Khomeni, Daniel Ortega, Kim Jong Il and Pol Pot?

stevepaa 02-03-2006 08:08 AM

I'll bite. Explain Khomeini?

Rikao4 02-03-2006 09:59 AM

out of Washington, Danes and others should have censored the cartoons, it upset the Muslims, can't have that now can we.
Rika

Carter turned his back on the Shaw, ushering in the fundamentalist hell that Iran has been ever since.

stevepaa 02-03-2006 12:36 PM

Uh no. Go read up on it. The storm had been brewing for decades. He fed the fires with some of his policies and his SAVAK. When he left, there was jubilation in the streets there and here among Iranian students I knew. It took me aback as I thought everything was fine under his rule. Was not the case. There was widespread opposition to some of his policies and to the brutality under his tenure, which he himself was apparently not aware.

How many died in WWII? What if we, in the middle of 1944, had said, screw it, we've already lost enough men, we're quitting the war!

stevepaa 02-03-2006 12:44 PM

Apples and oranges. We have already "won" the war by WW2 standards. This is occupation resistance which we also had in Germany, except that in Germany the war had nearly destroyed everything and killed any real effective oppostion. Not so here.

kach22i 02-03-2006 12:53 PM

Just like Vietnam, letting the enemy know we are willing to throw our young men's bodies into the meat grinder.

Pride is a terrible thing.

I'm not tolerating George W. Bush.

At all.

Neither should you if you fancy yourself as a patriotic American.

Tim Hancock 02-03-2006 01:35 PM

Well Pat, some of you lefties do get a little carried away (read Cindy Sheehan), but thankfully most of you do not go off the deep end like the nutjob islamic freaks that are ready to start blowing up Danes over the "bomb on the towelhead" cartoon.

BTW, I find it very humorous that YOU would have the gaul to question MY patriotism.:D

In your pictures, you do not appear to look like you would be a flaming liberal, my guess is that you have or had a union job at some point in your life (that or maybe you are an environmentalist?).
Not that it is any of my business, but which is it?
