The Spanish flu killed 500,000 Americans in 1918. It could happen again. Apparently the flu virus constantly mutates and occationally a very deadly one is created.

Don't worry, Bush has a plan to quarantine the sick. He made this plan after reading the book "The Great Influenza".

Not many people drop by to visit when you have the ebola.

At one point I remember there were worries about an ebola pandemic, remember the movie Outbreak? There were concerns about it going airborne and becoming more contagious. I remember reading a book about it at the time, what a nasty way to die. Bird flu sounds pleasant in comparison.

Its getting worse, much worse.

Just announced that infected birds have been found in both Greece and Italy. Its winging its way into Europe and will be around the world by years end.

Not a good situation should it get into the human ranks...

Today reported in Slovenia and Bulgaria. Spreading into Southern Europe rapidly...

Guess no one cares but its now been reported in Iran, Germany and Austria.

India is now culling their flocks of chickens, its all over Eastern Europe and the UK is just waiting.

Here in Egypt they stopped selling chicken at the hotel resturants.

If anyone likes chicken, they better stock up on it now... Personally I will really miss wings and the buffalo style strips at Costco...

Hi friend
I remember there were worries about an pandemic, remember the movie Outbreak, There were concerns about it going airborne and becoming more contagious. I remember reading a book about it at the time, Bird flu sounds pleasant in comparison. use tamiflu for removing bird flu infection, for more tamiflu information see- http://www.drugdelivery.ca/s3353-s-tamiflu.aspx use it.

Actually got a briefing on Bird Flu today. Suffice to say the news ain't good. The current Avian Flu has all of the virulence properties of the 1918 strain that caused the Flu Pandemic and is only one more mutuation away from being able to undergo human to human transmission...

But don't worry, Slakjaw...it's all a bunch of hooey.
