Anyone else following the A1 GP Series? At first I thought the concept was kind of hokey, but it seems to work. I just caught the race from Durban South Africa on-line, about the 3rd race that I've seen. Compared to F1, CART and even F-Atl the races seem to be quite entertaining with a fair amount of passing -- even on Durban's very narrow street circuit. Unfortunately France has been cleaning up at most of the races with Alexander Premat driving all of the events, and the US is languishing back in the 'teens with a series of different drivers. "Jos the Boss" from the Netherlands was both entertaining and impressive in South Africa.

Or am I the only one following the series?

Nope, Watching it from Europe right now. Looks interesting and glad to see something different!
