Let's clear this up then.

[blah blah blah]

Better yet, apply yourself to figuring out why I've not supplied that answer. Actually, I have answered, you haven't listened.

[blah blah blah]

You have the answer.

This has gotten quite tedious.

When you can snatch this copy of the Bill of Rights from my hand, caterpillar, you too will have the answer.

So, you would force American born men and women to go into math and the sciences?

The assertion is that there is no shortage of mathmaticians and scientists, not that there is a shortage or non-shortage of American born people in those fields.

ok...you want to split hairs to try and worm out of *my* points (which you don't want to address), let's try this:

Do you think it is OK that almost all of the creative scientific work being done in this coutry is performed by foreign-nationals, most of whom will leave once they are trained?

You doofuses (or doofi, if you will) are missing Pat's points entirely. If you would just look harder you would see that he has provided all of the answers to the questions you have not asked, or have not seen the answers he has provided.
Seek and ye shall find.
Look not, want not.
What not.
"Snatch this pebble from my hand, grasshopper..."
I prefer the ignore button, but it's like a bad accident. I just can't seem to look away...:D

That has not stopped him in the last 1000 posts, so why worry about it now. We post fact and Slopat does not respond, so most of us have given up.

He still thinks that the Confederate Army should have won the Civil War!

At least in his little world he is happy...

Todd,

This is the sad part. Look to the majority of the skilled trades and they are in large part not held by American's anymore. Head hunters in India and the PI are bringing in nurses by the thousands, engineers, doctors, etc... the same.

The other issue is that once they are fully trained and forging ahead, they very well may return to their home countries, taking their knowledge with them. Are we going to start a slow decline at this point like Europe has been doing? Sure hope not...

All of the restrooms in out IS department smell like curry.

onewhippedpuppy 02-09-2006 01:30 PM

You ought to smell our engineering buildings. What those people have against deodorant I will never understand.

In the tech world, American companies have been training these guys over there to work over there for some time now.

I'm afraid it's already started.

No, I thought not.

Every time, EVERY TIME, someone wants government out of business where they have no business, and no Constitutional authorization, these goodnessess are trotted out like a trick pony.

It's as much garbage today as it was 40 plus years ago when it was done.

Dad?

nostatic 02-09-2006 02:09 PM

started? It is beyond started. This is what will kill this country. And I'm not sure it can be turned around.

There are reasons I"m learning Mandarin...

BlueSkyJaunte 02-09-2006 02:34 PM

Well, that and the Chinese chick fetish, right?
