Has the word "equality" shown up once in this thread? Was equality mentioned with verve at CSK's funeral?
I do find it disingenuous of those asked to speak, to turn this woman's memorial into a partisan platform. And in many ways, I felt Bush was the odd man out here, and unless he's desensitized to his detractors, probably felt beaten up upon.
Anyway I look at it, he had balls to show up there. Ironically, I think he truly had no choice, particularly after Katrina. In that light, shame on those who detracted from this strong woman's passing by making it into a forum for criticizing U.S. policy and/or the POTUS.
