Another thread bit the dust......

Someone seems to get more or less hammered here and then when it gets interesting the plug is pulled. Seems we can p!ss all over the MM lawn but not be opinionated about others. Big Bro is watching........

My sentiments exactly...and that's exactly what I just asked a moderator before your post....why MM and not MSR?

How about we use code going forward:

MM = Monika
MSRR = Susanne
Overpriced = high-maintenance
wrong representation of parts = facelift
poor workmanship = ugly

Then its just like talking trash about gals...

[A]: How do like Susanne. Her third face lift really did the job, hm?
[B]: Yeah, but I heard she's real high maintenance, I' rather talk to Monika, low-maintenance and easy-going.
[A]: Yeah, but she is but-ugly......

now come on now: It said CLOSED in a plain big icon at around 3.16PM and I wasn't the only one that noticed it. I was dying to get something off my chest and couldn't. It's like needing a bathroom when you are trapped on the 405 during rush hour - then at 3.50PM it magically was open for comments again.... 1

Ummmmm.....even if Wayne did ban threads in a completely arbitrary and biased way, did you happen to notice that the threads are in the FREE Pelican Parts forums?

Pelicanparts is providing an amazing value add service to the Porsche community, and he is some how obligated leave up material that he finds offensive or could be legally problematic? This is a private company, you have no rights, and if you think you should, your a nut.

I have done forums management, and hearing people b1tch about the FREE service they are enjoying never ceases to amaze me.....

HD, I don't necessarily disagree with your message here, but I think you're basing your argument on a false assumption -- that being that because PP is a private company that folks have no rights. The reality is that in many jurisdictions, what constitutes a 'public place' has less to do with whether a venue is publicly or privately held, and more to do with the nature of scope of its 'availability' to the public.
