If you are looking for plants, frogs, or interesting birds, well, guess its a major find...

<<< The team recorded new butterflies, frogs, and a series of remarkable plants that included five new palms and a giant rhododendron flower.

The survey also found a honeyeater bird that was previously unknown to science. >>>

A new large mammal for Indonesia, the golden-mantled tree kangaroo (Dendrolagus pulcherrimus)

That would be cool to see for the first time.

Very cool. And that was on the relatively small island that includes New Guinea. Just imagine what could be found in the rest of the world. There have to be other places that are that isolated. I guess isolated areas of large continents might not have the wide range of previously undiscovered life that an island is likely to have.

This is exactly why Darwin selected the Galapagos Islands for his studies.

Very cool article. Hope they can keep it preserved.
Never know the way they are cutting down rainforests.
