Good day to leave the helmet at home also. Drive fast and reckless.

EdT82SC 02-09-2006 02:30 PM

Last year this time we were complaining about the two feet of rain we got in January. This year we had about .2" in January, and a few brush fires instead.

GDSOB 02-09-2006 02:35 PM

My feet are cold. I vaguely remember living at the beach.

Rick V 02-09-2006 02:40 PM

Thanks I realy needed to hear about this while the high today was 40 without the breeze! Also have a chance of snow this weekend.

yeah, are those fire late season from last year, or early for this year?

it's about 75 up here in the bay, not 80+, but a nice change just the same.

Nice weather during the work week is nice, but it always seems to cool down and/or rain on the weekends.

86 911 02-09-2006 04:56 PM

It was in the 70s again today. Damn, I love CA too! Cabriolet top was down to school this morning and from school this afternoon... in my shorts and short sleeve T-shirt most of the day... life is great! :D

Wishing my violent death by motorcycle crash...cool.

livi 02-10-2006 12:51 AM

Disgusting. A little empathy for us snowed in people with frost bites, poor day light and sleeping beauties. Please. :D

I used to plea thankful for the fact that I was not born in the desert of Ethiopia, seventh child of an HIV-positive mother. Well, I still am.

I guess everything is relative...

Weekend aint bad in Phoenix either:

Today
Feb 10 Sunny 77°/47°

Sat
Feb 11 Sunny 72°/43°

Sun
Feb 12 Sunny 73°/47°

And we can afford to live here and not as many fruits or nuts around this part of the woods!

TerryBPP 02-10-2006 04:39 AM

If it makes you guys feel any better its around 50 deg here in South FL. We keep getting these suprise cold snaps.

Porsche virgin 02-10-2006 06:27 AM

Nor'easter expected here in the NYC area. It has been warm lately, though. Temps in the low 40's!

Rikao4 02-10-2006 06:51 AM

Mid 70's in Texas, no rain in months. Top of, not doing the limit. Next week looks the same.
Rika

Violent deaths are totally overrated. Feel free to experience a slow lingering death if you choose.

You keep mentioning CA "fruits and nuts" as if it's a bad thing. Besides everyone knows it's really about the cheese. ;)

vash 02-10-2006 01:28 PM

fruits and nuts? wait! are we refering to gay people?

still phoenix though. wait a few months until we post that we still have clear skies at 80 degrees, and you have 112 degrees. at least it is a dry heat.

really nice in san francisco today. i love a pretty smile and a sun dress!

Just make sure you know what is in that sun dress, can get confusing in Frisco. :D

vash 02-10-2006 01:43 PM

My area mirrors Procon's with the exception of the timing I'm about 4 hours behind in the snow track. and we are expecting 8 inches across the board. I wish ya'll so-cal boys heavy traffic.........oops too late! Weekends like this remind me of why I bought my little truck!

Howard Agency 02-10-2006 03:33 PM

Couldn't make it today, here's a shot I took Wednesday at Pt. Mugu.

Howard, something tells me the shot I post tomorrow of me digging a path to my G35 won't have the same effect as yours, unfortunately. Enjoy the waves...nice shot by the way

Rick V 02-10-2006 05:21 PM

We havn't had any signifigant snow for some years now, we get mostly sleet and freezing rain. We have had a couple of 4inchers so far this year but nothing to write home about.
The SC is hiding in the garage and the E36 has been religated to the back of the driveway. Did all the fliud checks on the truck and am looking forward to having a little fun and more than likely running to the store to get suplies for all of my elderly neighbors. ( I seem to do this every time it snows more than a couple of inches) I would say it keeps me off the streets but.................

yellowline 02-10-2006 06:18 PM

8-13" of snow by Sunday night. During the storm, visibility should shrink to <1/2 mile. Another storm and then I'll be ready for driving season.

Thanks. It's one of the first decent actions shots from my digital. Can't quite get the hang of shutter delay. BTW, I lived in Lawn Gisland as a kid. Miss it, just not in February
