I am so sick, what is wrong with me?
 

On Monday, I went to the doctor because my neck was sore, my ears were ringing, and I was dizzy.

She told me that I have an inner ear infection and gave me some freaking horse pills (cefzil) which I have been taking twice a day. The first few days they seemed to be working. Today I woke up and the dizziness is worse than before. All the symptoms are back.

This totally sucks. Dizziness is not fun.

I would guess the Cefzil (antibiotic?) isn't doing the trick. She probably explained to you the sore neck, ringing ears and dizzyness are caused by the inner ear infection. Don't mess with it. If it gets worse, you could end up with a ruptured ear drum.

I'm right there with ya. Everyone around my place has been sick for the last two weeks.

Mine started off as a migraine, got over that. Two days later I got a head cold. About 4 days of that, then my temp went north of 104 and off to the ER. Turns out I ended up with pneumonia. Lots of pills and a week later, I started feeling better. Then yesterday something is going on with my stomach!! WHEN DOES IT END!!!!!!!!! :mad:

Meanwhile, my son has a double ear infection, and my wife now has a head cold. The only one that avoided all this is my 6 month old daughter. Thank GOD for that......

At least you are not like Rodeo! He never takes his head out of the sand, so eyes are closed shut and dizzyness is never an issue! Believe that he is now digging down to Syria to find Saddam's WMD for the Democrats! :)

Know several people with this same thing and it all was an inner ear situation. If the pills are not working, get back to the doctor as the longer you let it sit (if its not working) the more of a chance you have of ear/hearing damage.

Sounds like the infamous "Bird Flu". Yea, you probably only have a few days left. Jack up all your CC's and live the life of Riley until ya kick the bucket.

I take Cefzil when I have a sinus infection. I thought it was only for upper respiratory issues.

Nope, cured that problem long ago...I took a big dose of reality and quit doing mind altering substances. It turns out I had early stage liberalitis, better known as headuptheassitis...Sometimes I will have a pain in the ass once in a while, lingering symptoms I suppose.

And knowing where slak usually has his head, I would have thought he would have gotten a prescrip for a Lower GI infection... :eek:

Mul, if anything, you NEED a big fat joint.

I used to get bad ear infections, a combination of chiro and acupuncture has all but solved it.

Are the symptoms indicative of Meineire's (sp) diesease?

Been there too many times...is she cute?
