Nbc
When NBC gets NASCAR they relegate many races to their cable channels to show golf or basketball on the premier network. Now they have the Winter Olympics and they opt to show single cars going round and round at Daytona. The only WO stuff I can find was Womens hockey on USA. I just don't get their marketing. My kids have been looking forward the WO for weeks.

I've been having a hell of a time finding the Olympics...
And when I do, they show one or two people from one event, then move on. They seem to be skipping the awards ceremonies altogether. It's like they hired MTV to produce their coverage.

This is the worst broadcasting of the Winter Olympics ever. I got up Sunday morning and turned on the TV at 10:00 and they have NASCAR on. Come on, you have an event that happens every 4 years and you can't do a continious broadcast? If you don't have the programming time to devote to Winter Olympics, don't bid on the broadcast contract.

I agree they (NBC) have sucked. Friday night all they talked about was the political persuasion of each country and how many troops they had in iraq. I though the WO games were supposed to be a time to put all that aside. It just stinks.

It all has to do with commerical dollars. Advertisements for Nascar pay much more that advertisers for the WO. I would bet that pretty much any tv show on NBC attracts more advertising dollars than the WO. If you received your paycheck in proportion to the advertising dollars, which shows would you choose to air?
