Anyone here CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certified?

Systems security, business continuity, and access seems to be the hot thing right now. Anyone have their certification in this field? Just curious about your work background and process to get cert. Figured I'd try re-directing my 16 years of IT experience into something cool

I am looking at these guys for review and certification.

TIA!!!

It's the next thing I need. A friend of mine got it last year, a smart guy who studied his butt off and sweated the test, but passed. His background was general hacking and router management for a brokerage. Plus pen tests.

I consider it a "real" designation.

Thanks! I have real world experience with like 7 of their 10 areas, but the tests look hard Just dunno how much depth I'll need for each area.....

I will get my CISSP after I finish my CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) and CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner). I just completed my CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) and the CISA was the toughest test I've ever taken. Our IT Security department strongly encourages everyone to get their CISSP.

I got my CISA last year. The toughest tests (actually was 6 tests that got increasingly difficult) I ever took were for Certified Pension Consultant And now I don't even use the designation!
