How do you shake the urge?
I really want to replace my daily driver with a Subaru WRX STi. I shouldn't because I need to be saving for a house, blah blah blah. I've got no kids or wife to talk sense into me...How do I stop the itch?

Calamine lotion?

You live, get married and die.
You are in the "live" phase - and don't forget it.:D |

K21 is somewhat right..me, happily ( really) married for 20 yrs, she loves the P, for now go and get the Subie, hopefully your time will come ,and THEN you will have to make compromises, not a bad thing either.

Here is a link to a single guy who just purchased a Impreza 2.5i Wagon. Although not a Subaru WRX STi you could always pretend to be.

Matt,
I was in the same situation not so long ago. I focused on the resale/investment possibilities with buying the house, and the percept of : My house, attached to My garage, which contained My 911. Got a basic brick rancher with a two car garage and an older, but not too boring daily driver. Next step is to flip the house and upgrade all. Rinse and repeat. |

The MR is an incredible machine. I want used, and I like the older STi over the older evo for a few reasons. thanks for advice freybird, I'm going to try to hold out about a year and a half more, unless the DD toyota calls it quits before then. Maybe then MR's will be in my price range, but I like the subie. :)
