How sweet it is!!

I woke up this morning at 6:30 and remembered they were practicing. I ran to the living room to see F-1 cars live on TV again.

:D

The Tifosi has something to smile about too.

Anyone esle see the qualifying?

It was pretty intense. I lind of like it. I was suprised to see the #3 position but expected the 1 and 2 based on practice times.

Poor Kimi.

BTW - Did anyone else catch Massa's "thank you" to Frisi for holding him up? I looked to see Mickaels reaction to it because it was an indirect shot at him.

Massa looked pissed in the interview and that has me wondering how the season will play out. I think he and Mike are not going to get along.

Yeah... I caught that too. If you were watching, MS was very excited and giving congratulations to Massa...after that comment MS kind of stiffened up and looked more "all business". Maybe it was just me and the fact that I had been up since 4:45AM...lol

I would love road america or even mid ohio personally, but places like VIR and Barbour would be great too. I go to the F1 race in Canada(6 hours away) already...you must see them once in your life!
Also I wonder if Laguna Seca would meet F1 safety requirements. There's some turns with not much run-off. I know this is also the case at the older European tracks but those are sort of grandfathered in.

So anyone know when the race is on? Speedvission? What time?

I just finished watching the post session interview, and what FM said was that "he really had to thank Giancarlo for stealing his pole, because he was definitely going to improve his time on that lap"...

What a twit. And a presumptuous one at that.

Race is 6AM EST tomorrow.

6 am EST on Speed TV.

I was watching the practice on Friday and someone made a comment about the amount of $ that has been invested in developing the V8 engines. Someone quoted $1B Euros across all Teams. Did anyone hear that comment? Seems crazy high.

Regarding the reduced engine size making the constant search for revs that much harder, I loved Patrick Head's recent quote that "We could not have found a more expensive way of reducing horsepower..."

My thoughts exactly. The new guy is stirring up crap right from the start. He is the #2 ride and needs to deal with it. Prove it on the track no one wants to hear excuses.

Its going to be very interesting at the Ferrari camp this year.

John- I caught that too MS went from jovial to serious in a heartbeat. Almost like he was really trying hard not to react.
