Any fans of the Little River Band?
If so, then I have some exciting news:
Graham Goble, one of the founding members of the band, is about to realease his first solo album, which he's been working on since 1998. I'm supervising the photo shoot for the album cover and booklet, and I've had a listen to some of the tracks .... It's gonna be a great album.

No, I can't say I have, Matt. Actually I don't recall them coming to the NYC/NJ area.
I recently bought their greatest hits at a discount place and reminsced to the music while my daughter listened on. She got quite a kick from the Lonesome Loser song.

Heh. "Lonesome Loser" is one of their more catchier tunes. It's a great song. I'm quite partial to "Help Is On Its Way".

I think my favorite is "Reminiscing" which reminds me of an old High School girlfriend.....

The Little River Band......ah yes. I saw them in concert back in another lifetime. They played a performing arts theatre on the campus of Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA. Still listen to some stuff of theirs these days, as well.

Joking aside, I was a huge Midnight Oil fan in the 80's. The singers voice wasn't for everyone, but the band and the back up vocals where great. Still listen to them.

Saw LRB in Germany in the 70's. Just listened to their Greatest Hits CD a couple of weeks ago. Used to love the band, but unfortunately their songs sound really dated.
