1970 911T on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsche-911-T-Black-5-Speed-Florida_W0QQitemZ4615934975QQcategoryZ10156QQrdZ1Q QcmdZViewItem

"The previous owner said that it ran strong but would die every few miles. I trailered it home and started to drive it locally. Some times you could go 10 miles before it would die, other times 3 miles then it would die."

"I shipped motor, carbs, and the transmission as one part to http://www.motormeister.com in California from Florida. The engine was rebuilt from the ground up, carbs were completed rebuilt, transmission rebuilt. $12,000.00 (yes, twelve thousand dollars) later and this drivetrain is now basicly new with many power upgrades (email for more on this if needed). Motormeister shipped it back, I re-installed it. Took it for a drive, got about 12 miles and it died."

"On a suggestion from my dear old dad, I looked in the gas tank. There it was, coating the bottom of the gas tank was about a 1/4 inch of trash and debris which had clogged the fuel line exits. With the purchase of a $400.00 gas tank, she now will run for hours on end with no more stalling."

"I can no longer look at this car. Please take it out of my sight. If I can recoup $6,000.00 I will call it even. "

Ouch!

u forgot the best part:

"The engine is a 2.2 but according to Motor Meister, it is no longer stock. According to them, it should have an additional 50 HP over a stock 2.2 with the upgrades I paid for."

Well, the ignition and electrical system are not on the engine. A rebuild may have been completely unnecessary.

And it sucks even more that it's a motor schiester rebuild...

And is that... do I see BOTH of the red wires from the MSD box going to the SAME place? That's a problem right there.
