Was the drivers name Dieter perchance?

ZAMIRZ 02-28-2006 01:48 PM

Geez man, that's only a Ford GT. You had me thinking it was a REAL GT40......whew!

Craig 930 RS 02-28-2006 02:03 PM

See blood on the airbag? Dieters'.

kqw 02-28-2006 02:05 PM

It folded up like a balloon......

Moses 02-28-2006 02:06 PM

Post held up pretty well.

SlowToady 02-28-2006 02:09 PM

Should buff right out.

Hmmm, looks like it may have been caught in the old icy bridge hazard. Road surface dry & okay, but ice or frost on the bridge because of the cold air. There's one near here that catches 'em all the time. Adds to the problem because it's shaded all winter long, and part of a curve.

OK Craig. How did you get the Police Officer's pics? He is seen taking them in the reflection.

What does the "9 miles" mean? Like total on the car, how long you had been toying with him, how far he had to walk home, how far away he landed, what?

HardDrive 02-28-2006 02:48 PM

It means the poor SOB had driven the car 9 miles from the dealer when he got in the accident. Bummer....

Can you imagine the call to his insurance agent, that he had just spoken to an hour before?

TSNAPCRACKLEPOP 02-28-2006 04:34 PM

my brothers and i drive thru that intersection all the time, kevin lives about 1/2 mile from it. it is a creep thru intersection due to the rise of the road up to the level of 63rd street, and the surface is nearly always broken up from freezing and thawing. it is almost a rarity for the flood gate there to be open, but we have had little inclement weather lately in K.C.

seems like a waste, and a mistake.

Wow; that has to be some kind of modern day record. Or wasn't there the guy who picked up a CGT and got rear ended by a plumbing van at the very first intersection outside of the dealer's lot?

I bought a Harley in about '78 or '79 and only made it a block from the dealer before it died with terminal (pardon the pun) electrical problems. Not a wreck, so not quite the same, but I still didn't see the bike for several more weeks as one of the mechanics completely re-wired it. I feel for this guy insurance or not.

Anyone know what happened? Operator error, icy road, what? And what the hell is it with those posts anyway? From a motorcyclist's point of view, those look like a death trap. No guard rails or anything to deflect a collision.

CJFusco 02-28-2006 05:56 PM

Dieter? Man, I was hoping that the driver's name was "Clarkson"... ;)

Craig 930 RS 02-28-2006 06:16 PM

George Brett lives just around the corner in the first picture. The road curves to the left in front of the house.I've driver many of my P cars and have never hit anything there.

Dantilla 02-28-2006 08:14 PM

Who owns a car like that for two days and only puts nine miles on it?

I'd rack up a couple hundred on the first day.

speeder 02-28-2006 10:00 PM

The comments in that blog are priceless, my neighbors must wonder what I'm horse-laughing about. :D Example:

Knuckle-dragging testosteroid...

Nice car...BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That is a karma kick in the ass...

Earth: "Try my nifty coefficient of friction game..."

Car: "Whoa...."

Owner: "*****!"

Earth: "That's for getting 8 mpg, you oil hungry, rich, trogladyte."

Or this one:

All I'm sayin' is

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA!!!!!

Dumb fucher.
