Love his work. Who knows where he gets his intel but most of the time its spot on.

The amazing thing about Clancy is that he has NO prior military experience. He used to be an insurance salesman. And most of his juicy stuff was written before the Internet put this stuff at anyone's fingertips.

One of my favorite books of all time is "Without Remorse". Great stuff.

The torture scene in Without Remorse is the best! I still have a fear of decompression tanks from that book.

a few summers ago I started with Rainbow Six and read all the way back to hunt for red october. Many people thought it was stupid, because I knew the whole story at the very beginning instead of learning it peice by peice. Even though Jack Ryan is a great character I prefer John Clark.
