928S4? WTF??? I love that car, was it the grey one at 5th Gear? If you race it at a Maverick gig what class would it be?

Hi Mike: I just replied to the post on the other thread, threw up a couple of pics too. No racing this one. She's a "creampuff" with 38K on the odo. Really, really great shape, paid a bit of a premium for her, but worth every cent. I promised Deb she stays stock. Except for a little exhaust work. And wheels. Maybe a suspension upgrade.

yup, just checked them out, very nice indeed! Its gonna be tough to hear you coming down 2477 without the Webers singing their song. Was 91 the last year they made them? Isn't the S4 the top-o-da-line of the 928's?

Actually, they went to '95, a 17-18 year run, but only 50,000 total built. The S4 was second to last, and built until 91, no 92 model. The GTS went from 93-95.

I haven't been anywhere near the wall for this thing. I only tapped 110 on the way home, and it was a quick blip to get there. These things have a pretty flat torque curve and the HP keeps building up thru the revs. I think it will pull the 911 in top end. Thru the gears, it may be closer.
