They interviewed his mom but I never caught what was wrong with him. It came about that he never had a cleft pallet at all just a speach impedement.

It was pretty bizarre. Clef was outed a day before his death for not having a clef pallet. Luckily the Stern crew wasn't to hard on him. He sounded fine on the radio, if not a little depressed about the revelation.

Seemed like a sweet guy.
