TOCA:3...new racing game

i recently picked up toca:3 for my ps2.
i have to say it is the coolest game yet, every type of racing, actual inteligent "ai", excellent realist damage, and ready for this......online play
there is everything from vintage 60's/F1/formula fords/monster trucks/sprint cars/indy/dtm/v8 sedans/*cough*nascar*cough* etc etc etc.........
plus all the tracks associated with the different types of race cars.....laguna/bahrain/istanbul/spa/surfers paradise etc etc etc

this is the best racing game out there imo, only glitch i've seen is other peoples slower connections makes their car "jump" about on occasion......i have a cable modem so doesn't really concern me.
there are a bunch of morons who will boot you out of a race if you accidently scrape paint..........wussies LOL
online play can be set by the host to make opponent cars "ghosts", also has full flagging so cutting corners will get you black flagged, yellows.....you name it you can do it

yes i believe it is better, the racing physics are fairly realistic to the type of racing and seemingly dead on, the AI DTM cars will scrub fenders with you......but they hold their line and don't run into you for no reason....like gt4 does.
the F1 are a blast, they seem to stop a little quicker and "unrealistically" but i've never driven one so who's to say
the nicest thing is you can set the difficulty of the ai drivers from 50-110%, which is cool.....i like close racing and having to work for a win......

I have Toca 2 and love it. I'll have to check out 3. I found a lot of American hatred online. It seems a yankee isn't supposed to be able to drive well online, which isn't a bother for me I prefer to drive well in real life.

I entered a 10 race series and finished 5th in the 1st 2 races and 3rd in the next 2. The I came in second and drew some rather rude attention from a bunch of Britts who found it entertaining to run me into walls and push me through braking zones.

I was called a f*ucking Yankee and bloody wanker by the lot of them and was suprised not to see any Americans on there, or maybe they were hiding behind another countries flag.

My mic was not working which was probably for the better. I found the experiance frustrating and never bothered with online racing after that. Its a shame because at first I thought I found a great place to go race online and have fun with some other armchair racers.

i have been booted and banned by brits and swedes, for passing cleanly and kicking their arses......
they try to put me into the walls, can usually save it if i see it coming, pisses them off when i do.
what really pissed them off is when they late brake and blow past the apex on the inside and i simply turn under them and regain the spot.....many car legnths ahead.......it's all about braking points
then i always get booted by cocky americans whom i also kick the crap out of, listening to them banter on how i use cheats is funny......when all i use is the brakes. i never ever ever use cheats, never needed to, never will.
we need some inteligent racers who don't mind a little fender scraping.....nothing blatant unless it's called for
the mercedes in the DTM series is nice, the audi sux......

and i need to pic up a mic.....
