Jared, I hung out with YES for several months while they recorded a studio album and a live album in San Luis Obispo, 1996. I hooked up with them and was allowed into their studio daily to just hang out and watch. It was the most amazing time ever. Those guys are still awesome. Good times........ -Chris |
White Zombie opening for Pantera in '94. I can't believe anyone had the guts to follow White Zombie, but Im still not sure who put on a better show. Both of them were awesome. Zombie may have actually been the headliner for this tour. I think they opened because of the time required to set up their stage. Pantera had nothing on stage except for Darryl's and Rex's stacks and a huge TX flag, but they ripped.
Worst Band Ive ever seen: The Misfits opening for Anthrax in '95 in a small bar in Orlando. I am obviously a big Misfits fan, but they are an absolute trainwreck on stage. Maybe thats the idea  |

Dennis Chambers with Victor Wooten. Dennis Chambers with John McLaughlin. Dennis Chamber with Billy Sheehan. Eric Johnson about 10x BB King Front row for VH in '95 (caught a pick from Eddie) Rolling Stones Steel Wheel(chairs) tour '89 (worked security and met the band, watched a soundcheck). YES with Steve Howe and Rick Wakeman. So many others, but they're hazy. |
