Far side of the moon is the optimal place to establish radio telescopes/etc totally isolated from spurious radio signals from earth.

Incidentially, If I am not mistaken, Michael Collins was the first human to be all alone with the bulk of the moon between him and home.

It's about as far from suck-ass L.A. traffic as I can think of. Sign me up.

There is no dark side of the moon. As a matter of fact, it's all quite dark.

The actual quote is:

"I certainly was in the right."

They took people from the street outside the studio, and even the doorman, etc. and interviewed them. They asked them questions like; "have you ever been violent?" and had them describe the situation, like a bar fight, etc. Then asked them: "were you in the right?"

That's why you hear some saying. "that guy was cruisin' for a bruisin' ", and "I don't know, I was really drunk at the time"
