Japan wins World Series!
I followed this event only partially, but I am a big fan of Japanese culture and the Japanese LOVE Baseball.
I think it's fantastic they won! http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,188588,00.html Surprised it did not get much coverage, probably because the U.S was not very succesful?

Wait till the day this turns into the real World Series. The suits at MLB are sorry they thought this up. Why they ever created this distraction the pre-season is anyone's guess.
Hey Dan - have you checked out the new bento place on Graham off Metro?? Oiishi zo! |

Yes indeed! Plenty of Nihon-shuu & wa-shoku. Down on Bedford would be perfect, close to Manhattan and plenty of parking for the sub-urbanites.

Sounds like a plan. JT is over in the Willy-B too. Maybe early April or something, a good bar/restaurant in Brooklyn would be my choice too.
Let's keep in touch...

I'm a big baseball fan. Oakland A's lifer. My favorite player? Ichiro. No one plays the game like that man. Japan wins? Good for them. Good for the number-one-son.

Umm... the White Sox won the World Series.
Japan won the World Baseball Classic. Essentially an All-Star Series. Not quite the same accomplishment.
