				I was surprised that Eisendrath and Oberweis did as well as they did. I was rooting for my home boy Brady. Even though he's known as a cutthroat real-estate baron in these parts, he'd still take care of the area...

			From what I understand, Blagojevich has his office downtown, and only ventures to Springfield when absolutely necessary. 
		
	
		
	
			
			
				
					Topinka, as treasurer, has put the brakes on more than one of Blagojevich's hair-brained financing schemes--his answer to the state's money problems has been to create even more expensive (and popular) social programs. Circus for the masses, if you will.
