wrist surgery

Well, i had my wrist surgery today. They installed a nice titanium screw about 2 1/2" long..
check this out..!

Not bad, looks like it reduced nicely. That's an A/P shot, got a lateral one (from the side of your wrist)?

*disclaimer** That is not my wrist, that is from a file photo, i was just showing what it looked like. Im still a little lupey.., should have said that the first time. BUT< it looks exactly like that one above..

I had a mri/cat scan done before the surgery, but none after. I go in next week again, so im guessing maybe he will take some more then.

As long as were showing scars..... This was the left ankle done in '04. Had the right side on '05 with a touch up/scope early "06. Been gimpin for a couple years now.



Here's the hardware after it was removed.

What were you doing, skydiving? Broken heels are problematic, as you're finding out.

It's Okay, just want to see how well they fixed it from another angle. Post op photos are sometimes taken in recovery, but they'll likely want some on your next visit. Real time intraop xrays were probably used, a little machine called a Floroscan is common, those can print out pics, but none are digitized.

Spent several years running - Killed the cartilage. Both sides were subtalar fusions.
