picking it up this week, black, sport seats(plaid) 17" wheels, 6 disc changer, sat radio...500 under invoice!!!! 3.9 finance. they are doing invoice on the car and then i get a 500 loyalty bonus! car is awesome, drives like a 83 on steroids

best part is I get ANOTHER fast!!! that will be 2 i have!

Did you get the DSG gearbox? I test drove one. AWESOME. No human can shift that fast.

it was a big challenge...the DSG is just so great, but i got a stick. I drove the dsg extensively, it is the cat's ass and noticeably faster than the manual, but i am getting this as a daily driver, so the stick is better for me in snow.

I have one already. It was really weird... how i got one, it just showed up fedex one day at work! about a week or so ago...now i will have 2!

NICKG - Maybe it's too early to ask, but what modifications do you have in mind?

Euro springs are supposed to bring the suspension to Euro-spec level - i.e. lower.

And there's a chip somewhere, that raises the horsepower to 250-260 hp, IIRC.

it is a mid year 06(it may be an 07) i plan on euro springs, euro front spoiler...better is that I will be doing the prototyping on a Bosal performance exhaust sooner or later. My fast like to keep things simple

nothing nicer than a black gti imho...i will post some pics when it comes in (tuesday i hope)
