WRC Finland 2005
Does anyone have a copy of the 2005 running of the WRC rally of Finland...like VCR tape or a DVD ???

bit torrent...you can get it no problem. eurosprt coverage too......even this year's now that we don't have rallly on tv anymore

Sorry, I don't understand what "WRC" is. Speed Channel has sufficiently brainwashed me to believe that the only racing worthwhile to watch is NASCAR.
 Couldn't resist. To answer your question - sorry, I don't have a copy of WRC/Finland from 2005. -Z-man.

we do not have any TV coverasge of WRC in the USA. ESPN is not covering it here

The ESPN airing was from ESPN Int. How about AXN or Foxsports? We also do not know when they will air the WRC, we need to track all the sport channels. We receive the Speedtv channel for Latinamerica and all the shows are taped, no live coverage. |

Speedovission DOES cover WRC here but sporadicly, I have watched on dish network.

scottmandue....2006 season is already a few events old....Monte Carlo, Sweden , Mexico, Spain......there hasn't been ONE event of these covered by SPEED.....
Tell me I'm wrong.... Donporfi...thanks....I'm hoping to get a tape or CD copy so I can play-back at will.... but this will hold me over... Anyone else ?? - Wil

Sorry to hear that you are not getting tv coverage. I have seen most of them down here, the only pain is getting the airing time of the show. Also they did not air the third leg of the Spanish rally because they changed programing at the last time. |

I apologize, have not been able to find it on TV here... I did watch it last year.
I should have said they did carry WRC, perhaps if we are lucky they will give us a compilation program at the end of the season.

That's my whole point.. I fully understand that SPEED covered the 2005 season... I have almost all the "off-the-air" tapes except Finland.
SPEED abruptly...and very quietly too..... stopped coverage for 2006... I'm getting withdrawls.... I was in Germany last year and went to the German WRC rally. Fantastic. Two things of note: 1.) saw Rally Finland on the Jumbo-Tron they had there...and it showed one car after another on the "jumps"...it was so severe in 2005 that the co-drivers of all the cars couldn't speak for about 30 seconds afterwards...amazing...got the wind knocked right out of them. 2.) got a personal autograph from Michael ( "Beef") Parks....sadly, he would be dead not more than 30 days later at Rally GB/ Wales. -Wil
