Need help with a Breitling...

I have an Avenger Seawolf and screwed up the date when I foolishly tried to set it an hour forward before midnight on Sat. Somehow I lost track of whether I was at 12:50pm or am and can't make it go back one day. If I just unscrew the crown before I go to bed tonight and then set the time tomorrow when I get up, it will turn the date at noon, right? I tried that last night and just a few minutes ago (before noon) tried to turn it back 12 hrs. and even going backwards, the date went to April 4. I know I sound like a total idiot, but I can't figure this out. The Breitling forum board gives no instructions on how to register or post. Please advise. Thanks.

This Breitling Forum is the one I've always used. Seems to me they have a pretty good archive section.

Dusting off my memories on this, I thought that Breitling said to never change the date within an hour of midnight because that would screw up the mechanism that changes the date in the watch. But, I culd be wrong on this because it's been a long time since I read the instructions on mine.

Pat, that's the site I went to before, but it has no instructions on registering and posting. I sure hope I didn't screw this watch up.

Try this:

Looks like they've had a bad crash, so I may not be resistered now either.
