Optimas in a boat.....
 
Ready to replace my batteries....looking at Optima Blue Top Deep Cycles....950 CCA...

Anyone have a history with these.....

My marine regulators are designed to recharge a deep cycle and many are not.

Agree with Ron.
If you're upgrading batteries, upgrading your charging system can be a good investment.

Very good batteries, although I do use regular flooded cell batteries in my boats. I ran the Optimas one season in my race boat but switched back to regular batts again.

three year warranty as well. Friend of mine had one and accidentally shorted across the posts, frying one of the cells. They exchanged it with no paperwork, no questions asked
