Call of Duty 2. XBox 360 live. Any players?
 

I admit. I'm addicted. It's my sons game, but I think I get more playing time than he does.

Amazing game. Fantastic graphics. Pick your weapon and location; Moscow, Leningrad, Tunisia or one of several cities in France. Play live against people from all over the world. Cool stuff.

That looks like the Tunisia maps/mission from CoD II PC version. I play multiplayer almost every day.

Good game, but there are issues, and it seems EA/IW isn't very interested in fixing them. From what I've heard, they're trying to get CoD III out later this year...

Played the PC version. I enjoyed it. It wasn't quite as addicting as Half Life 2 but still fun.

There was an update downloaded a few weeks ago that improved things immeasurably. What's your gamertag?

Moses, you wouldn't see me in game anyway, you'd only see other Xbox live gamers.

I'm [517th]Fray Adjacent in game. I haven't seen anything about a patch for the PC version...

Add me to your friend list- I play COD II on 360 (haven't played it online yet, my friends say its too hard to find your friends online- was this the update they fixed?)

We've also been playing Ghost Recon -its ok, but not stellar.

I'll pick up anything if its good and others want to play.

Ahh... on cod2hq.com, I see what you're talking about. There was an update for the Xbox360 version. The patch for the PC version is still not out.


I don't know about the Xbox version, but there are tons of things that bother me about the PC game. The spawn points SUCK. I can't say how many times I've spawned right in front of an enemy (and been killed instantly), in front of a teammate when friendly fire was on (and been killed instantly), or literally on top of a grenade (and been killed instantly). I've been shot around corners (syncronization problem... other guy's game still saw me where I was a split second ago) (and been killed instantly)...

People that run'n'gun annoy the crap out of me (running, jumping, shooting from the hip and still killing everyone), the shotgun is too powerful and trumps every weapon at close range (shots disappear if you die right as you fire your weapon)

No punkbuster... I've seen people cheating. I've spectated and seen people using aimbots and wallhacks.

I am pretty sure the patch will provide Punkbuster support, and I hope it will try to fix the rest.
