In case of rain, the car is equipped with a soft top to protect both the driver and the interior. A fixed hardtop is also available.

Bet it lasts about a year before needing an overhaul which will probably cost half the original purchase price.

A 780 inch motor putting out 1100 ponies is not all that highly stressed. The components (if in fact it's Donovan big block Chev derivative) used to build it have been well sorted in the drag racing and street rod circles. If the drive train behind it is up to the task, I'll bet it is an extremely reliable car. Rebuilds on a motor like this are dirt cheap compared to ours; the Donovans and similar raised deck custom V-8's use primarily Chevy, Dodge, or Ford internals from the engine upon which they are based. The only "custom" internals are the stroker crank and longer than stock pushrods. The intake manifold is custom to accomodate the raised deck height as well. Other than those parts, everything else is off the shelf aftermarket or even OEM.
