Way full, and if Iran is attacked, their plates will run over. I can see scenes from the 1975 Vietnam exodus being replayed, albeit on a much larger scale, with missiles flying all around the ships in the Persian Gulf while the evacuation is underway.

Mul-berry thinks those ships are invulnerable to attack, he'd better guess again. The Iranians have had decades of unrestricted development in the field of defensive and short range cruise missiles. A salvo of several hundred cruise missiles would put a hurting on a lot of ships. My information is that the Iranians have thousands of them, in single use launchers. Simple fire and forget technology.

The US government should have expected the Iraqi's to resist the illegal invasion; you're whining about it now is of no consequence whatsoever.

During the Iraq/Iran war the Iranian Airforce was Non-Existant...and you wonder why with all the American Hardware the Shah had bought....you'd think their AF would be riding high....Simple reason really the Iranians had NOBODY capable of maintaining them.

tabs, you may want to revise your statement on the Iranians not having anybody capable to maintain the planes they bought

as the F-14 tomcat is now beeing decommisioned by the US Navy , the F-14 community is now kinda cursing about the sadly demise of the Tomcat Squadrons, and subsequent conversion to the SuperBug... the Iranians are now the only to fly F14, and they still have AIM54 Phoenix missiles , in active service...

They make their own parts, they have SOMEBODY capable of maintaining these planes, in fact they modded plenty of the hardware they bought back in the days of the Sjah, and brought it up to a good condition...

according to the now converting Tomcat folks, those rumours about the Ali-Cats beeing grounded due to poor maintenance are absolutely not true.... that's your US Navy pilots saying it ... based on their sources... not me :

i guess the iranians found some technical bbs , some kind of Pelicanparts for F14's and other related US made hardware...
