The interesting thing to me is that in the Iraq-Iran War the Iranian Air Force had a 5 to 1 kill to loss ratio to their advantage, and their highest scoring ace has nine kills. Only the Israeli's have done as well, and that was in 1967.

Irrelevant. The kill ratio during the Vietnam war overall was something like 3 to 1, but it in fact was declining from an initial 5 to 1 and was only 2 to 1 by the early 70's.

None of which applies now.

Iran had a pretty good AF at one time. They had US jets (F-4s) and we trained their pilots and maintainers until the Shah fell (given up by Jimmy-never met a 2-bit dictator I didn't like-Carter). I trained some myself.
Although that expertise was still around in the early '80s....the hardware and personnel are long gone now. New Mexico has a better AF.

Wrong. Simply because nearly every western country of any pull, including those European countries aligned against our actions in Iraq, are supportive of our potential actions against Iran.

Secondly, Iran has a history with the U.S. that isn't exactly shoulder slapping. The same Islamic Fundamentalist viewpoint that took Americans (and British) hostage in 1979, are still in control today.

In short, sovereign is as sovereign behaves, and Iran has been behaving quite badly of late.

And Tin Foil Hat Pat U really are dense...if it weren't for the economy of scale that exists in todays Globalized economy you would not have the technological goods and services you enjoy today nor could you afford them if they did exist. Therefore the Teddy K analogy does make sense....

So what it really comes down to is that the lifestyle U lead in America is based upon the dirty work that the Government does in support of American capitalism worldwide. No..not the Iranian Air Force Website.

From the comments you all have made, clearly not one of you have actually read the site. It commemorates the IMPERIAL Iranian Air force (IIAF). AKA, the Air force of the Shah. Not the IRIAF (Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force)

Sure some of the stories come from the Islamic period, but the site is IMPERIAL. As that air force hasn't existed in over 20 years, my guess is that the site was created by refugee/ex-patriates and not by the current Islamic Government.

Note that there is a page dedicated to those who fought against the Islamic Regime and were executed..
