I have been listening to DLR on his radio show and I must say I like the guy. He played a re-mix of Jamie is Cry’n that was a sorta Smokey Mountain Blue Grass version and it was great. I guess he is going to do it with several VH covers. It may not be for everybody but it seems like a cool thing to do for an aging rocker with some great tunes. Imagine if Mick did it instead of his present tour laugher.

It was announced this week DLR is fired. Opey and Anthony are taking his place. They are silmulcasting the show, edited, on Radio.

David is supposed to stop by Sirius to talk with Howard about what went down.

The funny part is clearchannel or whatever company is now trying to get out of paying DLR's contract.

Tough for old rockers to age gracefully. Some pull it off, some can't.

Neil Young is still gettin it done.

The Stones should stick to playing the Blues.

Why was he canned? Or do I have to hear it on Howards show?

DLR was canned for poor ratings. His star power was supposed to launch him to the top right away and it didn't.

The interesting thing is to see the radio company weasel out of paying his contract.

Dave was interviewed by a HS reporter 2 days ago and he hinted he was canned and would be happy to come on the show and tell his story. Sirius wants to talk to him about a possible show.
